Brigadoon Hunting Preserve offers the best in upland game bird hunting. Our season runs October 1 through March 31 and there are no bag limits due to our preserve status. We operate by appointment only in order to design a hunt especially for you or your group.
Whether you hunt quail, chukar, pheasant or a combination of birds you can bet your hunt will be one you will remember for ages. We can provide world-class gundogs that love hunting as much as you do or bring your own gun dog. We do not sell shells.
Half day hunts run from 8am to 12pm and 1pm to 5pm (start times are approximate)
These are guided hunts ~ Guides gratuity is generally 18% of the total invoice
BASIC HUNT: Maximum 4-hour hunt, from either 8 to 12 or 1 to 5 (start times are approximate), with either quail, chukar or pheasants released. An example is 20 quail per hunter or 10 quail, 6 chukar and 4 pheasants or any combination thereof. The single hunter or the Father/Son or Daughter hunt is a 20 quail hunt or the equivalent.
EXTRA BIRDS: Each hunter must pay for a basic hunt before extra bird prices apply.

Example: A four man, quail hunt, with a guide and dog would be calculated at $125.00 x 4, plus $120.00 for the guide & dog = $620.00 or $155.00 per person. This would equate to 20 released quail per hunter. Extra birds and gratuity would be an additional cost.
NOTE: The person booking the hunt is responsible for the expense of released birds if cancellation is made after the field is stocked.
TRAINING SESSION & FIELD RENTAL: Our trainer will work with you and your dog in our fields, providing one-on-one instruction, trouble-shooting, and problem solving techniques.
Under NC Game Laws, dog trainers are allowed to place and take preserve birds all year long. Quail will be provided for training at an extra cost of $8.00 per bird with a 10 bird minimum (prices subject to change, please verify price at time of reservation). Other birds may be available, please contact us for further information and pricing.
No more than 2 owners & 2 dogs may be scheduled at one time.
Rental fee must be paid at the time the reservation is made. Not offered on holidays!
Half Day Weekday: $200.00 Half Day Weekend: $300.00
(This is a farm privacy fee and does not include birds).
